Star Link Leave Policy

This leave policy allows flexibility for employees to meet personal, family, work and community commitments without compromising the achievement of business objectives.

The Leave policy is applicable for all permanent staff of the company

Types of Leaves

      • Casual Leave (CL) -12

      • Earned Leave (EL) -15

Casual Leave (CL) :

  1. Total 12 leaves will be accrual for complete Financial Year i.e. From 1 April to 31 March .

  2. Balanced CL remaining un-used as on 31st March will lapse.

  3. Leave has to be posted through LMS within 3 – 4 days and will be approved by H.O.D through LMS only.

Earned Leave ( EL) :

1.EL is calculated for the days worked during the previous calendar year

2. 15 days of Earned Leave in a calendar year .

3. More than two days EL should be approved by higher authority i.e Management through H.O.D.

4. Balanced EL will be considered for encasement for Employees having gross salary upto Rs.25000 

Earn Leave needs to be availed in same financial year for Employee’s having monthly gross salary more than Rs. 25,000/-. If not used same shall be carried forward however accumulation of leave should be more than 25 else excess number of leaves shall be lapsed. There will not be any encasement for employees have salary higher than Rs.25,000/-

COMPENSATORY OFF:-

  1. If an employee is required to work on any important assignment on a National / Festival / Declared / weekly off day, he is eligible for Compensatory off on any other working day.

  2. Official approval is required from the department head / management to work on such National / Festival / Declared / weekly off days. No compensatory offs will be entertained when worked on these days without proper approval.

  3. Only two days of compensatory offs can be combined and availed at a stretch.

  4. The compensatory off has to be availed within a period of three months from the date worked.

  5. C-Off is not applicable for HODs and Department's In charges as it is part of their job responsibilities to complete the task if required for Company .

Note : Leaves are benefits given to Employees from Management . 

  • Sanctioning of leave is at Management discretion based on exigencies of business or seriousness of the case.

  • Leave year is from 1st April to 31st March.
